Ok, BE 2.xx don't tested with Vista or 7. So can't say anything. I think they won't be optimized for Vista/7. Wait until BE3 released.

Configuration: AspireOne A150B - XP home SP3 - BE 2.7. Problems : 1 - repeated "access violation" messages when doing the charge test. 2 - Gauge most of the time under Task Bar even if Task Bar is set to be under application windows. Minor bugs : 1- "Create battery charging graph" disappears when selecting any test except classic test, altough the button is still operating. 2 - Special french characters do not display correctly on the "elapsedtime" field. Wish : a link in the langage.ini file to the help file so translation of help will be possible by volunteers... Anyway, a useful tool ! Thank you.

While running the battery charge step of the test I repeatedly got the error "Access violation at adress 004676A9 in module "BEPro.exe" Read of adress 000002F4". The program did not crash though, and I was able to complete the test. The message reappeared about every 30 seconds. I was using Battery Eater Pro V 2.60 on a new Compaq laptop. The laptop was running Windows XP Pro SP2 with all the latest updates. The processor is AMD Turion 64 X2. 2GB of RAM, nVidia 6150go graphics card. I will be happy to provide any additional info.
